Karachi: Five members of defunct outfit nabbed

Karachi police and intelligence agencies conducted a joint raid near Ayesa Manzil and arrested five militants of a banned organisation. The security agencies also recovered large quantity of arms including kalashnikovs, hand grenades and pistols from the arrested militants.According to sources, the arrested militants, Abid, Ali Raza, Hassan, Qamber and Ali Abidi, belonged to a banned outfit and were involved in sectarian killings in Karachi.The sources further said that the accused were planning acts of terrorism in Karachi. Police have started investigation.
