NEPRA attorney smells rat in RPPs

The hearing of RPPs continues in a 2-member SC bench under the CJP Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry.NEPRA’s lawyers said none of the companies worked in accordance with the contract except for Gulf Power. Guddoo Power Company was given Rs 1.25 billion while its machinery was transferred to Naudero 2 project. The advance was also claimed on it as well.The CJP observed a case should be filed against the responsible. The court asked whether any action was taken on the irregularities or not.
