Summary President Zardari and General Kayani discussed current security situation in country on Tuesday.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) met the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr. Both discussed the war on terror and Pak-US relations.Professional matters pertaining to the Pakistan Army also came under discussion in the meeting. They held a detailed discussion over the war against terrorism, particularly the law and order situation.A news agency quoted its sources as saying that bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United States, especially ties with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), came under discussion. The COAS briefed the President regarding joint military exercises of Pakistan and China.The duo also discussed the law and order situation in Balochistan.
