Summary Two people were arrested and hundreds of kites were seized during crackdown against kite flying.
The Lahore police took action against kite flyers after a young man, Asif of Sabzazar, died on the third day of Eid-ul-Azha when the string used in kite flying cut his throat.The CCPO Lahore has directed all the SHOs of the city to take action against the kite flyers. Police have arrested two people from Wahdat Colony and Gulshan Ravi areas in this regard and recovered large quantity of kites from their possession.
