Summary The payment of pensions to railway employees has been started in Lahore on first day of the month.
The bank management has arranged chairs, drinking water and tents to facilitate the pensioners who have gathered outside the banks.Meanwhile, separate counters and waiting points have been established for the pensioners inside the banks. The pensioners have expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.According to Manager National Bank Mughalpura, the cash issued by the government for payment of pensions has been shifted to the account.
