Summary Ex-foreign minister Shah Mehmud Qureshi said country was in need of people raising voice for change.
The ‘corrupt duo in government’ is about to be sent home, he said while addressing a seminar in Multan. Qureshi said that the way by which the rulers were running the country can confront the country with bankruptcy.Around Rs 3100 billion are lost to corruption every year, he said, adding that the losses of Railways, the PIA and the WAPDA are multiplying by the day.He said if the people fall the ‘idols of Somnat’ by elections, the country can lead to progress and prosperity within ten years.
