Constitutional way be adopted to remove Zardari: Aitzaz

Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said Asif Ali Zardari is a constitutional president and constitutional way be pursued for his removal from his office.He said this while talking to journalists on Saturday. He held the slogans chanted in PML-N rally were inappropriate.‘I used to stop people from chanting slogans of go, go. Some lawyers used to raise slogans of go, go but I stopped them.They stopped from doing so in courteous way. All the lawyers had only one slogan “this war will continue till reinstatement of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Slogan of go, go can be chanted against dictatorship. ButPresident Asif Zardari is a constitutional president. Parliament is the only avenue to remove President Zardari from his office and not the slogans of go, go”, he underlined.Opposition should wait till upcoming elections and compete it vigorously, he held. It should adopt the way of elections, he stressed.Targeting President and Prime Minister is not proper, he said adding amendment be introduced in the constitution with reference to Shahbaz Sharif speech.“I had dreamt a dream that PPP and PML-N would go side by side and resolve the problems facing the people. Both the major parties were in clash with each other and differences had developed between them”, he remarked.MNA and MPA have been stopped from talking against judiciary and army in the constitution, he said adding “but I think amendment be made for stopping them from talking against civil institutions.
