Summary LHC sought an explanation from Punjab government over nonpayment of fee for installation of banners.
Lahore High Court Justice Sheikh Azmat started the hearing of the case, the counsel for the petitioner Rana Azeem argued that the PPP, the PML-N and the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf have deployed thousands of banners and signboards which fee reaches to millions of rupees.He said that neither any political party has sought permission from the PHA nor paid even a single penny in this regard.Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed accepted the petition for further hearing and has sought a written explanation from the Punjab government and the Director PHA.
