Summary Dengue continues to take lives despite change in weather and measures taken by Punjab government.
Despite of change in weather and preventive measures taken by Punjab government, deaths due to dengue are continuing in Lahore.Anayatullah, 73, lost his life in CMH Lahore. Two other died of dengue in Mayo hospital include; 17-year-old Hafeezur Rehman of Shadbagh and 13-year old of Chah Miran.Number of dengue patients is also increasing in other cities. In Faisalabad, the number of patients has surged to 379 with 15 new patients. On the other hand, with nine new dengue patients the number of patients has risen to 526 in Multan.
