Summary Despite release of funds to Railways, passengers are yet bound to face difficulties.
They have to wait for long on railway stations, causing them mental agony.The service of Khushhal Express has been stopped temporarily. Likewise, trains coming from Quetta are also late. According to Railways inquiry, Quetta Express, which was to reach Quetta, is late by 15 hours.Likewise, situation in Peshawar is also not different from the rest of the country as Khyber Mail is late by 10 hours while Awam Express by five hours and Quetta Express would reach Peshawar by a delay of four hours.Jafer Express leaving from Rawalpindi to Quetta reached Multan 12 hours late while services of Multan Express, Thal Express and Mahr Express were cancelled due to non-availability of engines.The engine of Khyber Mail leaving from Peshawar to Karachi stopped working. The management replaced the engine but due to lack of diesel, the train remained stranded at Padedan Station for 10 hours.
