Summary Foreign Offices communication with the rest of the world was snapped as IESCO cut its power supply.
The Foreign Office reportedly owes Islamabad Electric Supply Company a sum of Rs 3.5 million. On default, IESCO cut off power supply to the Foreign Office, resulting in snap of communication through wireless system.As Railway owes IESCO Rs 90 million, the power supply to Railway Divisional Superintendent office and surrounding areas has also been suspended. CDA has to pay Rs 350 million to IESCO, and power supply to its offices has also been disconnected.
