Punjab govt not to be dissolved: Firdous

Though PML-N doesn’t enjoy majority in the Punjab assembly.Addressing Pakistani community in Dubai, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that there is loadshedding and corruption in Punjab, but the corruption is in fact weakness of departments. The continuity of democratic system is inevitable for survival of the country, she added.She said that the PPP had not come to power through the backdoor; “those wishing a early change are daydreaming”.She also claimed that the PPP would win the Senate elections by a 2/3rd majority.While targeting Punjab government, she said that the tall claims of good governance have fallen victim to dengue. To run democracy and Ittifaq Foundry are two different things, she added.She contended that the right of accountability belongs to the people.
