Summary Rangers, police arrested 62 suspects including 3 alleged extortionists in Korangi and Hijrat colony.
On a tip-off about presences of suspected criminals, a heavy contingent of Rangers cordoned off the surrounding areas of Mehran town. Anti-terrorist squad and regular forces of Karachi Rangers participated in the search operation and arrested 12 suspects including 3 alleged extortionists.On the other side, heavy contingents of police and Elite Force cordoned off two residential buildings and surrounding streets of Hijrat colony in Sultanabad area and arrested 50 suspects.
