Summary The Lahore High Court has decided not to observe two weekly off days.
The LHC and its subordinate judiciary would remain functional on Saturdays.The federal government has issued notification of closure of Banking Court, FIA Courts and Applet Tribunals on Saturdays. But keeping view the number of case and difficulties of applicants, the LHC issued order not to observe two holidays. Now all the federal and provincial judiciary will remain functional on Saturdays across the province.It is pertinent to mention here that, the federal government had announced two weekly holidays in government and semi-government organizations under a vigorous energy saving campaign.
