Summary Sialkot lynching DPO Waqar Chohans services have been handed over to the federation.
The Lahore High Court had suspended his sentence in the lynching case. For lack of adequate response, the former DPO was convicted on charges of abetting the people who lynched the two youth in a blood-curdling episode.Separately, BPS-21 officer Akber Khan Hoti has been posted as IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while Grade-21 officer Abdul Hamid Khan would be the Commandant FC.Before this, he has been rendering his services as Commandant of the Elite Force.
