Summary The Interior Ministry has issued notification of two weekly holidays in government departments.
According to the notification, all the departments under the federal government would remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.Furthermore, government offices will open and close an hour early, from 8 am to 4 pm. There will be interval from 1 pm to 2 pm on Friday.Certain branches of commercial banks would render services on Saturday as per routine.
