Summary The FIA has put 16 bankers on Exit-Control List on charges of embezzlement.
The FIA has procured their overseas travel record for further investigation.The Supreme Court had ordered putting on the ECL the 16 officers, including National Bank Board of Directors Chairman and ex-president Syed Ali Raza. They have been charged with embezzling Rs 2 billion in the name of Achievement Award of the National Bank.The FIA has acquired their record including detail of tours abroad while further inquiry is underway.
