Dejected and disappointed, the little girl from Okara and her family reached Dunya News head office in Lahore in their last-ditch bid to seek justice.They family says Aswa was subjected to rape by Miraj Din in the Okara Cantt police station precincts. The girl’s family tried to register a case against the accused, but they were threatened with dire consequences by the accused. The family says the SHO demanded Rs 50,000 from them to register the case.Aswa’s aunt says that they have been visiting the offices of the Punjab chief minister and the IG Punjab Police to get justice, but to no avail.
