Summary SC issued notices in a case regarding corruption in rental power projects.
The notices have been issued to the Ministry of Water and Power, the Law Ministry and the Chairman WAPDA.At the very beginning of the hearing, the court interrogated the petitioner MNA Khawaja Asif why he came to the court to raise voice against corruption in rental powers projects instead of highlighting the issue in the Parliament.At his, Khawaja Asif said, “When other institutions become inactive, we have to go to the departments which are active.The court told Khawaja Asif that Faisal Saleh Hayat had moved an application to linger on the issue. At this, Khawaja Asif said that Faisal has become a minister and it seems that he does not wish to pursue his petitions properly.The court adjourned the hearing till October 26.
