Summary SC restores bench to hear bail plea of PTI chief in lawyer murder case

ISLAMABAD (News Desk) – The Supreme Court on Sunday restored the first to hear the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman in the Quetta lawyer murder case.

The case is scheduled to be heard tomorrow (Monday) by a three-member bench, which will be headed by Justice Yahya Afridi. The other two members of the bench include Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi and Justice Musarrat Hilali.

Justice Musarrat Hilali will replace Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar on the three-member bench.

This change comes after the bench hearing the cause list issued on Friday was reconstituted.

Also, in a significant move, the Supreme Court summoned the PTI chairman in a personal capacity for the bail hearing.
