Summary At least 9 women of a family drowned in Indus River near Layyah.
A Karachi family came to Layyah’s village Mudd to attend a wedding. They were visiting the Indus River when, 45-year-old Ameer Fatima fell into the river. Other eight women including 3 of her daughters jumped into the river to save her, but all of them drowned.Rescue teams have recovered four bodies while search was underway to recover other bodies till late Thursday night
