Haj corruption: LHC to order case against PIA

Justice Shaikh Azmat remarked that he would order the FIA to register criminal case against the PIA.Single-member bench comprising Justice Shaikh Azmat conducted hearing of the petition regarding clear corruption in Haj flights.The petitioner Amer Iftikhar’s counsel argued that the PIA had not followed merit list for Haj flights; rather favourite Haj organisers were preferred in the regard.At this Justice Azmat said that corruption is committed every year in Haj flights and he would order the FIA to register criminal case against the national airlines on next hearing.The case was put off till October 11 for further hearing.
