Summary PML-Q chief Ch Shujaat Hussain has said that the Q would keep its alliance with the PPP.
The Chaudhry brothers met President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad and briefed him about reservations and resignations of PML-Q’s ministers. According to sources, the Chaudhry brothers complained the president about unjust division of powers between the PML-Q and PPP’s ministers and non-implementation on accords signed between the two parties. The president assured the Q leaders of removing their reservations.After having a meeting with the president, Ch Shujaat said that they would keep their alliance with the government and both the parties would contest the next election jointly.The PML-Q leadership also has informed the parliamentary leader Faisal Saleh Hayat about details of meeting with the president.
