Summary New spell of rains is forecast from Wednesday in upper areas of the country.
Cold winds from west will start entering Pakistan from Wednesday due to which rainfall is expected with thunderstorm in upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwah, including Malkand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat division and Punjab’s Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions. Heavy rains are also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Wednesday to Saturday.According to Met Department, the temperature will lower down due to rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwah, Punjab and Kashmir. Improvement in loadshedding situation is also expected with less use of air conditioners and fans, says the Met office.
