Summary Chinese Vice-Premier Meng Jianzhu has arrived on a two-day visit to Pakistan.
The visit is being considered important in the back drop of deteriorating Pak-US relations.According to diplomatic sources, during the two days visit, the Chinese Vice Premier would meet senior military and political leadership of Pakistan and would discuss matters related to regional security, recent spate of US allegations, bilateral relations and other matters of mutual interest.Sources added that Meng Jianzhu’s trip would give an important message to the Pakistani military and political leaders on the behalf of Chinese leadership.Meanwhile, President Zardari will host a banquet in the chinese deputy prime ministers honor.
