Summary Taliban commander Jamal Uddin was killed in police encounter in Akora Khattak area of Risalpur.
According to details, police got tip off about the presence of Jamal Uddin alias Qari Basit. The SHO Akora Khattak police station Ajmair Shah conducted an operation in this area. After exchange of fire, police recovered dead body, identified as Jamal Uddin (Janat Gul) s/o Siraj Uddin Sakana resident of Shahbaz Colony Jaronda Road, District Kohat.Police also recovered two hand grenade, one Kalashinkov and bullets.
