Summary The anti-dengue fumigation drive of the Army has started from Lahore and its outskirts.
Pakistan Army has started a campaign to eliminate dengue virus by establishing 12 free medical camps for general public and launching a fumigation and spray campaign in suburban areas of Lahore.According to the Inter Services Public Relations, scores of patients are being treated without being charged at the medical camps of the Army where free CBC test are being taken.Pakistan Army doctors are working round the clock in free medical camps at different localities to provide anti-virus support and treatment to the affected people. Latest state of the art blood screening machines have been installed to facilitate the general public in effective and timely diagnosis of dengue.About 35 spray teams equipped with both vehicle and motorcycle mounted machines worked throughout the day in support of common dwellers for extensive fumigation and spray of insecticides in various areas of Lahore and its outskirts.
