Summary PML-N is leading as unofficial results have started pouring in from LA 26 Muzaffarabad.
According to unofficial results Barrister Iftikhar Gilani of PML-N is leading while Usman Attique of PPP-Muslim Conference alliance is the runner-up.Barrister Iftikhar Gilani secured 22344 votes while Usman Attique got 13435, according to unofficial results.Supporters of Barrister Iftikhar Gilani of PML-N have slready started celebrations at his residence, with bouts of aeriel firing amid beats of drums.PPP, PML-N and MC were the main contenders, though a tougher competition was expected between Usman Attique of PPP-Muslim Conference alliance and Barrister Iftikhar Gilani of PML-N from the very start.Due to hereditary politics, PPP-Muslim Conference joint candidate Sardar Usman Attique was considered a formidable candidate. He is son of former AJK prime minister Sardar Attique Khan and grandson of former president and former prime minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan. On the other hand, Barrister Iftikhart Gilani also belongs to a main political family of Kashmir.
