Parliament to hold joint session tomorrow on two-point agenda

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistani parliament was set to hold a joint session on Wednesday, with two key issues on the agenda. The session would begin at 4pm and would be attended by members of the National Assembly and Senate.

The first issue to be discussed would be the deteriorating law and order situation in the country, largely due to increasing incidents of terrorism.

The second issue on the agenda was the matter of respect for national institutions. The parliamentarians would discuss ways to ensure that Pakistan's institutions are respected and protected, and that any attempts to undermine them are firmly dealt with.
