JSQM chief Bashir Qureshi bailed, workers jubilant

Approving the bail plea, the court told the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman and his aide to submit bail bond worth Rs 100,000 each.Earlier on Friday, Qureshi was sent to jail by the magistrate on a four-day judicial remand and police officials were directed to verify the arms licences issued to him.Rangers had arrested Bashir Qureshi along with his four companions on Thursday for carrying “illegal weapons”.On release on bail, JSQM workers received their party leader amid fanfare and raised slogans in his favour. The JSQM chairman, on the occasion, said that if he was murdered, case be registered against Rehman Malik, the federal interior minister.
