Summary Special prayers have been offered for flood and dengue victims Wednesday on appeal of the President.
President Asif Zardari, in a message from London, yesterday appealed to the people and all political parties to offer special prayers on Wednesday after Zuhr prayers for the flood victims in Sindh and other parts of the country.In this connection special prayers were also offered at the mosque of Aiwan-e-Sadr specially attended by acting president Farooq H Naiq, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Abdul Karim Kundi, Special Secretary to President Salman Farooqui, Spokesperson for the President Farhatullah, members of the parliament and staff of the President House.The imam of the mosque of Aiwan-e-Sadr offered special prayers seeking blessing of Allah Almighty to alleviate the sufferings of the people who had been suffering from unprecedented rains in Sindh and other parts of the country.Special prayers were also offered for early recovery of the dengue patients in the Punjab and other parts of the country on this occasion on the appeal of President Zardari.
