Karachi operation: Rangers seize weapons, narcotics, several held

Sindh Rangers, During a six-hour long search operation in Suhrab Goth, Asif esquire, Machar colony, Jannat Gul and adjacent colonies, arrested a number of suspects and recovered more than 80 weapons, narcotics and stolen motorcycles.Heavy contingents of Sindh Rangers, early in the morning, launched a massive search operation in different parts of Karachi. All the entry and exit roads were cordoned off whereas, a special squad of Rangers including women personnel conducted a house to house search. Rangers personnel were deployed on all the high-rise constructions of the area. A team of experts also searched the water tanks with special instruments.According to sources, the rangers recovered 80 different kind weapons, narcotics and several stolen motorcycles.Rangers also cordoned off a building, Shan Arcade, and recovered half dozen weapons from the building. According to Rangers officials the screening of arrested people is being carried out and they would be allowed to go home after clarification.
