Hang me if spared single target killer: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday also admitted targeted killers and criminals arrested in Karachi had links with political parties.Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, Malik said that investigations were underway to determine if the arrested culprits acted independently or took support or directions from the political parties.Malik said that he would present a list of the arrested target killers in the National Assembly. He showed his satisfaction with the Rangers operation in Karachi and said that indiscriminate action would continue in Karachi.Earlier, Rehman Malik and Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad met at the Governor House in Karachi and reviewed the city’s overall security situation. Both vowed that indiscriminate action against criminal elements would continue in order to restore peace in Karachi.Ebad said that Karachi was the backbone of the country’s economy and restoring peace in the metropolis was the government’s top priority.Malik said that Rangers and police were playing a significant role in this regard and that there could be no compromise on peace in the city. He further said that police and Rangers would continue the operations until Karachi’s peace was restored.
