The recent rains in Sindh created floods devastating large swaths of land. In Moro, the government had stored stocks of wheat which have now been dampened by flood water. The in-charges of the stores have tried to salvage a large quantity of wheat by transferring them to somewhat higher places in the areas, yet proper action is awaited from higher authorities.It is learnt that now the rain and floodwater is mixed with water from the sewerage, and the stocks affected by such water could be hazardous for human health if not treated properly.
