Summary ANP has once again rejected allegations leveled by MQM leader Altaf Hussain.
Awami National Party’s Senator Zahid Khan Saturday demanded a probe into allegations of foreign aid to political parties.Talking to media in Islamabad, the ANP senator said that his party never took dollars from the US while a judicial commission should be constituted to investigate which parties take foreign aid to compile foreign agenda.He said Altaf Hussain attempted to influence the Army and the judiciary during his news conference.Zahid Khan asked Altaf Hussain to give up British nationality and stand with his people in Pakistan.He said Karachi operation must continue and Rangers be empowered to control the law and order situation of the city which is becoming better after suo motu notice by the Chief Justice.He also demanded the Supreme Court take suo motu notice of incidents of May 12.Zahid Khan suggested that the media should not be pressured as it was hostage during the Friday news conference for many hours.He said certain elements in Karachi were committing terrorism and destabilising the country on instructions of lords sitting abroad.On a query, he said the ANP coalition with the People’s Party would continue whether the MQM joins the government or not.
