Summary Rehman Malik said chaotic situation in Karachi was going to be better with the passage of time.
He justified in his report submitted before the federal cabinet, which has favoured the steps taken by the Interior Ministry.The session of the cabinet was held in Islamabad with Prime Minster Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani in the chair.The Interior Minister briefed the meeting about operation launched against miscreants and terrorist.He briefed that law and order situation in the metropolis was stabilising with the passage of time.The meeting also approved the parliamentary committee formed by the NA Speaker on Karachi and Balochistan situation. Prime Minster Yousaf Raza Gilan said that special efforts should be made to release the boys taken hostage in Afghanistan.The cabinet also directed the Establishment Division to recruit 3000 jawans in Levies.
