Summary Faroogh Nasim says Karachi situation got better due to suo motu action by Supreme Court.
He was talking to journalists outside the Supreme Court Karachi Registry on Thursday. He said if somebody has any proof, he may present it in the court as Supreme Court could not blame anyone but it can move forward in the light of evidence and investigation.He said that the MQM has zero tolerance policy for criminals as there is no place for any wrongdoer in the rank and file of the party. “I suggested during the proceedings that Rangers should establish its checkposts and install gates at Kati Pahari and Qasba Colony. I requested the court to take indiscriminate action against all the culprits. I also recommended that a High Court judge may be deputed to monitor the incidents occurred in the city.He told the media that during proceedings, the Supreme Court time and again pointed out lack of administrative capability in investigations. The court also said that water always flows downwards. To a question he said that he told the court that how law and order situation was deteriorated in Karachi.
