Summary Two spillways of Ranikot Dam in Jamshoro broke down wreaking havoc across large swaths of land.
The deluge from the dam flooded hundreds of houses in Jamshoro, causing several mud houses to collapse.Also, standing crops were damaged. Massive pressure of water pulled down power pylons, disrupting the telecommunication system.The railways track was completely washed away, causing to cut off land links between Larkana, Dadu, Sehwan, Jamshoro and Karachi.
