Summary President receives summary to call joint session for Isb local govt bill
ISLAMABAD ( Dunya News ) – A summary was sent to President Arif Alvi on Friday for calling a joint session of parliament in context of local government’s amendment bill.
The president received the summary for the joint session from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs over the recommendations from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The local government bill would be presented in the joint session and after its approval from parliament, it would be again sent to the president for his assent and in case of no approval from him, it would automatically become law.
Few days before, the president sent the local government amendment bill unsigned.
