OBL Commission imposes travel ban on related persons

Those who have been banned include Dr Shakeel Afridi.Earlier, Pakistan had rejected American demand to hand over Dr Shakeel Afridi who allegedly assisted the CIA in Abbottabad operation in searching Osama bin Laden (OBL) by carrying out fake anti-polio campaign, and had adopted the stance that the matter of seizing the nationality of Dr Afridi and handing him over to America would be dealt with by the judicial commission constituted to probe the Abbottabad incident.On Tuesday, the Abbottabad Commission imposed a ban on travel of all personals related to Abbottabad incident.“No such person should be allowed to leave the country without clearance from the Abbottabad Commission,” according to a Ministry of Commerce spokesman.
