Summary The FIA has prepared initial investigation in Salman Taseer kidnapping case.
FIA team headed by Inspector Ahmer Naseem shared the phone record of Shahbaz Taseer, Amina Taseer, Shaharyar Taseer, his wife and father-in-law from Aug 15 to 26 with Intelligence Bureau. The team also gathered information from Shahbaz’ family and other sources, but found no evidence of involvement of his family in the abduction.It is pertinent o mention here that Punjab Police did not give any access to the material like mobile phones, laptop to the FIA team.
