Summary The Karachi police are gearing up for a grand operation against miscreants in Karachi.
Preparations have been made for the operation that would be started in District East. The Karachi police have been given additional mobile vans and armoured vehicles. In the first phase, raids will carried out in Landhi, Korangi, Malir and Shah Faisal Colony.In the context of police’s poor performance, the IG Sindh has ordered all the three DIGs, SSPs and SPs to launch operations in their area against arms, gambling dens and miscreants involved in other criminal activities.
