Summary Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered to take urgent measures to control dengue.
Presiding over a high level meeting, the CM said that the all the departments should evolve strategy against epidemic, adding that no negligence would be tolerated regarding this. He also formed a committee to review the quality of the medicine purchased for the dengue patients.Provincial ministers, members of parliament and officials also attended the meeting.On the other hand, the number of dengue patients has risen above 1,500 in Lahore alone despite tall claims of the government.
