Summary 'Everyday is not Sunday': Iqbal asks Imran to say goodbye to politics with dignity

NAROWAL (Dunya News) – Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday, saying it was time for him to leave politics with dignity.

Addressing the media in his hometown, Mr Iqbal took a jibe at the deposed premier [Imran Khan], saying that he had been exposed as not only a liar, but a corrupt person, adding that everyday is not a Sunday. Going four years back in history, Mr Iqbal said the people of Punjab gave a mandate to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in 2018, which was not accepted.

Continuing to talk about the mandate, Mr Iqbal said the PML-N got back its stolen mandate through the vote of no-confidence motion in Punjab, but with the ruling, the government was again handed over to the PTI.
