Singular honour for Gujranwala's child

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - The Gujranwala police have fulfilled the wish of a little thalassemia patient by making him an honorary CPO for a day.

Police presented Hamza the guard of honour and took him to the martyrs’ monument.

The boy had expressed his wish to become a police officer. City Police Officer Umar Salamat ordered his subordinates to fulfill the wish of the boy by inviting him and offering him the CPO’s post on an honorary basis for a day.

The honorary CPO also visited the police branches and the blood camp. Officials briefed him on various issues of the department. His parents accompanied him and expressed their gratitude for police.
