Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif has met families of target killing victims to express condolences.
Shahbaz is on a three-day visit to Karachi to express condolences with the families who lost their dear ones in the ongoing wave of carnage. He is staying at a hotel where different delegations are arriving to meet him.Shahbaz is accompanied by many PML-N leaders including Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Pervez Rasheed, Mehtab Abbasi, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood. A youth delegation and representatives of civil society organisations are also scheduled to meet the PML-N delegation.Speaking to a victim family, Shahbaz said that the killers of innocent people in Karachi will face the worst here and the life hereafter.He said restoring peace is Karachi is impossible until the killers are dispensed harshest of punsihments.Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif earlier reached Karachi late last night. He was scheduled to address the media at the airport in order to make them aware of his stance, but he could not do so due to poor arrangements there.PML-N leader Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi instead spoke to the media and said that coalition partners were responsible for chaotic condition in the metropolis Karachi.He said that some parties have been harbouring martial wings and now they are using them for their vested interests regardless of their consequences. He said it was lamentable that the same parties are in the coalition and behind the unrest.
