Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) MNA Hanif Abbasi on Wednesday asked New Town Police, Rawalpindi to register an FIR against Interior Minister Rehman Malik, accusing him of sending death threats.Talking to media, Hanif Abbassi said that he has submitted an application against Federral Interior Minister Rehman Malik but he cannot disclose the details regarding threats.Meanwhile, the interior ministry spokesman said that the allegations were baseless adding that Malik’s lawyer had been instructed to serve a legal notice of defamation to Abbasi.
