Summary Zulfiqar Mirza met President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad after being summoned by the president.
According to sources, Sindh Senior Minister Zulfiqwar Mirza told the president that he had respect for Rehman Malik and he did not trade harsh words with him.Eelier, Talking to the media at Islamabad Airport, Mirza said that police and rangers had been authorised to conduct operations against killers in Karachi.He stressed that killers in Karachi must be hanged in public irrespective of their political loyalties.He said that he came to Islamabad on the call of President Zardari but he denied that he had traded harsh words with Rehman Malik. He said that the issue was fabricated by the media.The senior minister of Sindh said that the MQM was uselessly blaming Karachi Peace Committee, adding that had there been no killing in Karachi before the formation of the peace committee.
