Mirza-Malik rift: President summons Zulfiqar Mirza in Islamabad

Rehman Malik and Zulfiqar Mirza differed during the Sindh Cabinet meeting chaired by the PM.Differences surfaced between Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Sindh Senior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza during the meeting of the Sindh Cabinet which was presided over by Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani.But both leaders appeared before the media together and said that there were no differences between them and both were like brothers.According to the sources, Zulfiqar Mirza criticised federal minister over his frequent visits to Karachi, considering it interference into the security matters of Karachi. He said it was the responsibility of Sindh government instead of federation to ensure peace in metropolis.Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned Zulfiqar Mirza in Islamabad today.According to the sources, the President would ask Mirza for explanation regarding his outburst against Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, which the latter uttered during the meeting.
