Summary Met Office informed that the 7th spell of monsoon rains would enter Pakistan within 3 days.
Rain was recorded in Karachi, Larkana, Hyderabad and in some areas of Lahore during last 24 hours, however weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country.According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) heat wave is expected to continue for next 2 days, however, seventh Monsoon spell will enter in the upper parts of the country which may spread in other areas while heavy rain is expected in Gujranwala Division during this period.Meanwhile, mostly hot weather is expected during next 24 hours however, rain with thunderstorm is expected in Lahore and Gujranwala.Maximum temperture recorded on Monday was, Islamabad=35°C, Lahore=38°C, Quetta=36°C, Karachi=34°C, Pesh Peshawar=37°C, Muzaffarabad=37°C, Gilgit=39°C, Multan=39°C, Murree=24°C, Faisalabad=37°C. Highest Maximum Temperature recorded in Dalbandin=44°C.
